AAE, a family-owned high-tech machine and module manufacturer based in Helmond, The Netherlands, has announced its acquisition of Solara Automation, located in Morrisville, NC, near Research Triangle Park.
Solara Automation has been delivering customized industrial automation solutions for over 20 years. This globalization step allows AAE to build on their local for local strategy and take the company’s vision to move the world happily forward by groundbreaking technology to an international level.
Research Triangle Park: where else?
With this acquisition, AAE and Solara Automation will expand to a new 100,000 sq. ft. building in North America. This expansion will enable Solara Automation to offer more complex and larger machines. The new facility will support Solara’s growth and manufacturing capabilities and AAE’s ambitions in the US. The expansion aligns with AAE’s ambition to introduce three business lines to AAE North America, comparable to AAE Europe. The new facility will support the growth and manufacturing capabilities of AAE North America.
The Research Triangle Park is one of America’s strongest economical environments and with this three technical universities comparable to the Brainport Area in the Netherlands. A must when it comes to pushing technical boundaries.
