MCC Verstraete Achieves CO2–Neutral Production

MCC Verstraete, Maldegem, Belgium, has always looked for ways to minimize the impact of its products and production processes on the environment, leading to the company’s Belgian production units in Maldegem and Ursel to obtain the certificate of CO2-neutral production.

“We produce labels that become part of plastic packaging and of course we are aware of the (ecological) challenges our sector faces. For many years we have been focusing on making plastic packaging more sustainable, both through international collaborations and through our own R&D we are helping to build solutions to achieve a circular economy for plastic packaging,” said Peter Grugeon, managing director at MCC Verstraete.
