IMDA Association News: January/February 2025

It’s Our 20th Anniversary!

The In-Mold Decorating Association is celebrating its 20th year in 2025. According to the wedding anniversary experts, the traditional gift is china. However, since I don’t need more fancy dishware in my life, what I really want this year is your engagement in IMDA activities.

What are those activities, you might ask? Great question! First of all, if you’re a member, make sure you sign up to spend time in the IMDA booth at events like PTXPO in Chicago and PACK EXPO in Las Vegas. When you commit to a two-hour shift in the booth to help me answer questions from visitors, your company will receive all of the sales leads we collect. It’s a win/win – prospects for you and in-booth expertise for the IMDA!

Second, the dates and location of this year’s Plastic Product Decorating Summit have been announced. Get it on your calendar now to join us in Charlotte, North Carolina, from September 3-5. Even better, think about hosting a tabletop exhibit or jump in as a panelist or presenter. When we get together and share knowledge, in-mold processes grow – and everyone benefits.

Third, if you aren’t a member yet, join the association for molders, printers, material suppliers and equipment manufacturers who are committed to the development and growth of in-mold products, technologies and markets. Fill out the membership application at www.imdassociation.com and help us celebrate 20 years while we celebrate your company as an expert in IML, IMD and IME.
