Hi, everyone. Happy New Year from Plastics Decorating magazine.
I’m Dianna Brodine, the managing editor. It’s a brand new year, and we are excited here at Plastics Decorating for 2020 and all the things that we have planned.
It’s always fun to start fresh at the beginning of the new year, so first on our list was a redesign of our digital communications for the magazine, which you saw as soon as you opened this email.
I don’t know about the rest of you but my eyes are getting older, so top of the priority list was a look that was easy to read, visually appealing and still contains links to all the news stories and industry information that you need.
In this email, you can click in to see which stories were our top five in 2019. Those topics included the decoration of cosmetic packaging with foil and simulating Pantone colors on colored substrates. Two of the articles related to pad printing, and we rounded out the top five with a story on anti-counterfeiting technologies for plastics.
What else is new? Well, we’ve been working hard on the first issue of the year, which is going to contain our annual buyers guide edition. That’s going to help our readers find the products and services they need in plastics decorating and assembly. It’s in print for our first issue and then online all year long at plasticsdecorating.com. We’re also working on stories that feature laser welding technology, coding options for difficult substrates and pad printing for medical devices.
So, here we go. We’re ready to tackle 2020, and we’re excited about what the new year is going to bring. Happy New Year, everyone, from Plastics Decorating magazine.
