Multi-Color Corporation (MCC), Maldegem, Belgium, was awarded the EcoVadis silver rating for its sustainability efforts. MCC determined a need for a sustainability roadmap and accelerated their efforts, allowing for significant improvements in all four pillars.
EcoVadis is known as a comprehensive sustainability assessment tool, evaluating companies on their social, ethical and environmental impacts. The four main pillars a company is graded on include environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
“This is a big encouragement for the entire MCC family, as it clearly shows that the hard work done in the last year matters and moves the needle for the entire organization,” said Dr. Stijn Billiet, global director of sustainability at MCC. “This outcome only strengthens MCC’s mindset towards a better future.”
