Inkcups, Danvers, Massachusetts, global printing industry leader, announced the appointment of Matt Medford as the company’s new Vice President of Engineering. Medford joins Inkcups’ Executive Team and will oversee the engineering department, ensuring that the company continues to drive innovation in industrial printing. He takes over from Mark Barrett, who retires in June.
Medford brings a wealth of experience in electromechanical design, development, and analysis to this vital role. He has worked in engineering roles for almost three decades, having begun his career at Siemens and GE. In his most recent position, at automation machinery manufacturer, Symbotic, he worked with both operations and installations teams to improve operational efficiency, product durability, and maintenance simplicity for components in an automated warehouse system.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University.
