Corotec Corporation, East Haven, Connecticut, a leading manufacturer of corona and plasma surface treating equipment for web, sheet and 3D applications, announces the appointment of Elik Dvorkin as President. Corotec is a member of the Inductotherm Group of companies, which provide advanced material processing technologies worldwide.
Dvorkin joins Corotec from Thermatool, another Inductotherm Group company, where he most recently served as Vice President of Technology. Over a 20-year career in the industrial, scientific and printing industries, he has led multidisciplinary teams in bringing new power, controls and automation platforms to market – always with a focus on measurable customer outcomes and lifecycle performance.
In his new role, Dvorkin will be responsible for strengthening Corotec’s global strategy in corona and plasma surface treatment, including product roadmap, engineering, aftermarket support and go-to-market alignment with Inductotherm Group brands and regional businesses. He will work closely with converters, OEMs and end users who rely on Corotec systems to improve adhesion, print quality and material performance in demanding production environments.
“Elik is a leader who lives our core values of integrity, customer focus and relentless execution,” said Mick Nallen, group president, Inductotherm Group. “Across his career with Thermatool and in the broader industrial technology space, he has consistently done the right thing for customers, grounded decisions in data and then pushed teams to deliver on their commitments. That combination of honesty, empathy and follow-through is exactly what we want leading Corotec into its next chapter.”
Under Dvorkin’s leadership, Corotec will continue to invest in application engineering, product innovation and aftermarket programs that help customers maximize dyne levels, reduce waste and improve adhesion performance across narrow web, wide web, sheet-fed and 3D applications.
“Corotec has a long history of innovation in corona and plasma surface treatment, and an equally strong reputation for standing behind its equipment,” said Dvorkin. “I’m excited to partner with our customers as they push into new substrates, higher line speeds and more demanding applications – and to make sure Corotec continues to be the technical and service partner they trust on that journey.”
Dvorkin succeeds Tom Ignatowski, who was recently named president of Thermatool Corporation, another Inductotherm Group company.
