K 2025 Exhibitor Registration Open Online
Exhibitor registration for K 2025, a trade fair for plastics and rubber organized by Düsseldorf, Germany-based Messe Düsseldorf, is now open online at www.k-online.com/2330. The deadline for reserving exhibit space at K 2025 is May 31, 2024. The event will be held from October 8-15, 2025, at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf. K 2025 will address the mega themes of climate protection, digitalization and circular economy. A special feature will again be the two US Pavilions. LSINC to Sell in Middle East Through Partnership with PRO TECHnology
LSINC® Corporation, based in Huntsville, Alabama, announced a new partnership with PRO TECHnology – one of the first companies to introduce UV printing in its region – to sell its line of direct-to-object digital printers in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region. PRO TECHnology, based in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, will be LSINC’s exclusive dealer in the region, selling and servicing the LSINC line of printers that print directly on cylindrical and tapered objects. New INX Sustainability Report Details Company’s Present, Future Commitments
INX International Ink Co., headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois, released its inaugural Sustainability Report, offering a comprehensive overview of the company’s evolving practices. The 36-page report emphasizes INX’s continuing commitment to become a greener company, and how it translates into providing customers with best-in-class ink and technology solutions that enable world-class printing standards. Since the introduction of a Coloring a Safe and Sustainable Future (CSSF) model in 2020 that is aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, INX has been steadfast with its approach to developing new products and processes. PLASTICS Releases 2023 Industry Recap
The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS), located in Washington, D.C., has released “The US Plastics Industry in 2023 in Seven Charts,” a recap of the plastics industry 2023 economic performance, authored by Dr. Perc Pineda, chief economist. Pineda wrote, “Assessing the plastics industry landscape in 2023 reveals a year marked with nuanced shifts across various sectors. Krones to Expand Portfolio into Injection Molding with Netstal Acquisition
Krones, headquartered in Neutraubling, Germany, is expected to sign an agreement regarding the acquisition of Netstal Maschinen AG (Netstal) from KraussMaffei. Based in Naefels, Switzerland, Netstal is a supplier of injection molding machines to the beverage market (PET preforms and caps) as well as to the medical and thin-wall packaging market. The final signing of the transaction is scheduled for early February 2024. After signing, the transaction is subject to approval under the relevant antitrust legislation.
